current U.S. Policy -immigration status

Know Your Rights: For Documented and Undocumented Community Members

At Well Being Transitions Counseling and Consulting Services (WBTCS), we are aware of how external situations can impact community wellbeing.

After a new administration comes into office governmental policies can abruptly change. Current changes in Immigration policy are impacting documented and undocumented community members. The United States Constitution protects all people who live in the United States.

Part of being a healthy community, is awareness of community members' rights whether citizen or noncitizen. Please find  red cards (below) in English, Spanish, and Arabic to keep on your person to remind you of your rights.   Please download WBTCS policy on Client privacy to enhance confidence in your health care when you select our services.

Although,  Immigration status is not covered by HIPAA; HIPAA states that personally identifiable information is protected; immigration status can falls under that category.  Each person is responsible for communicating with an Immigration Attorney to learn rights specific to their situation.  For more information on your rights please consider vising the sites below.
